We fully support the mission of the National Association Of Watch And Clock Collectors (NAWCC), which is to spread the word about watches (and clocks) and get more people interested in them. On May 18th in Ohio they are having their North Coast Regional Watch and Clock show. Basically you go there to buy, sell, and appreciate lots of different watches and clocks. Deals are to be had, and there will be lots of vintage pieces. Of course you need to be in the Cleveland area to participate, but if you are then you should stop by. It only costs $5, and that price helps keep the association going strong.

About: Buy rare timepieces, get expert advice and browse 100 to 200 tables of watches, clocks, parts, tools and books. Experienced collectors will discuss repair and restoration techniques while sharing historical knowledge.
Watch Collector Q&A: Bryan Eyring, the youngest member of NAWCC Chapter 28, has been collecting since he was 12. He is regarded as the best wrist watch evaluator in the region by the senior members of the NAWCC.
Q: What interesting pieces or brands (watches) will be at the Regional? A: Rolex, Omega, Vacheron & Constantin, Patek Philippe & Co, Meylan, Agassiz, Blancpain, Panarei, LeCoultre, and numerous other wristwatches and pocket watches. Q: How can a watch collector or enthusiast benefit from attending the show?
A: This show will give the budding collector the opportunity to evaluate and purchase high grade timepieces and converse with knowledgeable experts from across the nation. They are also invited to bring along their own timepieces for Q&A with the experts.

About the Feature Display: The 2013 Feature Display will be Opera Series Clocks from the E. N. Welch Clock Company. Also called Patti Clocks, the clocks are named after operas. Robert Woodbridge Briggs from Lexington, Kentucky will bring his extensive collection of Opera Series Clocks, which are highly collectible, expensive timepieces with a great deal of interest among collectors.
